Facilities at our Elephant Coast Resort
St. Lucia Self Catering and Bed & Breakfast, is well equipped for couples as well as 4 or 6 member families. We cater for large international tour groups and can accommodate up to 56 guests at any given time. Adventure excursion arranged on your behalf. Do not miss an opportunity, and later regret to experience the untouched nature of the area.
St. Lucia Safari Lodge Swimming Pool:
St. Lucia Safari Lodge has a sparkling pool that is about 130 square metres in size, next to the pool we have made available some recliners, tables, chairs and umbrellas to make your visit to this area as enjoyable as possible. It has a shallow end of about 1metre with a deep end slightly more
St. Lucia Safari Lodge Lapa and Bar:
The lapa at our resort is used for breakfast as well as dinners, it is equipped with seating for 56 guests, breakfast is served every day at a very competitive rate, please visit our rates and tariff page to have a look at the current rate. Dinners are served on request for large groups as well as for National and International tour operators. This area is also used for watching sporting events on TV and is equipped with 2 large screen TV's. This area can al;so be equipped for small conference groups that we have been accommodating to a large extent in the past. Breakfast consists of:

Bed & Breakfast Rooms
We have 13 Bed & Breakfast rooms which are mainly equipped with 2X twin beds, double bed units can be provided on request. Most of these rooms are fitted with mosquito nets. They are further supplied with coffee making facilities, safe, bar fridge, air conditioning TV (1,2,3 and eTV), telephone, hair dryers, clean towels every day, shower, toilet, required linnen etc. The units are serviced daily. Self Catering Rooms
The Lodge boasts 15 self catering units that can either accommodate 4 or 6 guests depending on the unit chosen. The 4 sleeper units are equipped with 1 double bed and two single beds or 1 single bed and a sleeper couch. Self Catering units are equipped with a bath and a shower, cutlery and crockery for 4 guests, linen, kitchen area with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer combination, telephone, safe, TV, air conditioning, patio with cast iron furniture and a stainless steel braai. Parking is available but is limited and we will not be able to accommodate large boats
Lapa and Bar
In the lapa we also have a sleeper bar where sport can be watched and drinks can be enjoyed, drinks can also be served to guests enjoying the sun next to the pool. Return to our Lodge and enjoy a sundowner drink next to the pool, the tranquility is unbeatable.
Our Lapa is used for breakfast and dinner and can also be re-arranged for conferences, seating of up 20 participants can be accommodated, we have all the basic conferencing equipment, just bring you own projector and Computer. TV, Flip Charts, beverages and snacks are all provided.
Curio Shop:
At reception a basic curio shop is available, selling postcards and other memorabilia that is specific to Zululand, St. Lucia town also offers many other Curio stalls and shops selling those little gifts that you would like to take home as a memory of the exotic experience of the First South Africa World Heritage Site.
